Directions
- Purée oranges and pineapple in food processor on high until liquefied; transfer to a medium saucepot. Stir in honey, ginger and turmeric; heat to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Strain through fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, stirring gently to press out juice; discard pulp. Cool orange mixture to room temperature; stir in vinegar and pour into ice cube tray. Freeze at least 5 hours or until frozen. Makes 16 ice cubes.
- Refrigerate 2 cubes in a 10-ounce glass overnight to defrost; drink straight or mix with 1 cup of cold water.
Tips & Tricks
Frozen cubes can also be puréed with 1 cup of water or juice, blended into smoothies, or added to a glass of iced tea or sparkling water.
