
Dole Fresh Vegetables Announces Selection Of Contractor For Gaston County, North Carolina Salad Plant

Dole Fresh Vegetables, a division of Dole Food Company, Inc. today announced that it has selected The Dennis Group, LLC of Springfield, Massachusetts, as general contractor for the construction of the Dole Fresh Vegetable plant to be located in Gaston County, North Carolina. The Dennis Group offers complete planning, design, architectural, engineering and construction management services and has over 20 years experience specializing in food manufacturing processes and facilities In addition to Dole, The Dennis Group has worked with Kraft, General Foods, Heinz and Nestle.
Eric M. Schwartz, President, Dole Fresh Vegetables, stated: "Dole has worked successfully with The Dennis Group on Dole's three domestic processing plants, as well as its two Scandinavia plants. I look forward to our relationship continuing on this project."
