Our employees are highly skilled at recognising which bananas satisfy Dole’s requirements. They decide which bananas deserve the premium label.
On this conveyor belt, employees remove bananas that don’t meet the Dole standard. These are used for other purposes, for example to make purée.
Dole bananas carry the Dole quality mark as a sign of consistent premium quality.
Our employees make sure that only the very best bananas are shipped to consumers. Selecting the right bananas requires a combination of training and experience.
After the first selection process, further random checks are carried out to ensure absolute quality.
