Spicy Banana Dip
This is an easy fruit dip which is great to serve at your next party.

Ingredients
- 2 DOLE® Bananas
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh mint
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon finely chopped green chile
Directions
- Mash bananas with fork. Stir in lime juice, cilantro, mint, ginger and green chile, transfer to a serving bowl. Refrigerate in an airtight container until ready to use.
- Serve with homemade or store bought whole grain cinnamon crackers, or vegetables such as celery and carrots.
Whole Grain Crackers:
- Combine 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons milled chia or crushed flax seed, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 3/4 teaspoon baking powder.
- Add 1/3 cup water and 1 tablespoon olive oil, mix until dough holds together. If necessary, add one or two more tablespoons of water as necessary.
- Transfer to the counter and knead 4 or 5 times.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces, cover and rest for 10 minutes.
- On a lightly whole wheat floured surface, roll the dough until it is wafer thin.
- Carefully move dough pieces to parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Dust 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon over the top, bake in preheated 400°F oven for 4 minutes on each side.
- Remove crackers from the oven and break into bite-size pieces.
