Grilled Banana Bites with Cashew
Ingredients
- 16 (6-inch) bamboo skewers
- 1/2 cup cashew butter
- 1/2 cup plain soy yogurt alternative
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 5 ripe DOLE® Bananas, peeled and sliced crosswise into 1-inch-thick slices
- 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
Directions
1. Prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling over medium-high heat; soak skewers in water 20 minutes.
2. Stir butter, yogurt alternative, syrup and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Makes about 1 cup dip.
3. Thread banana slices onto skewers; brush both sides with oil. Place skewers on hot grill rack; cover and cook 6 minutes or until grill marks appear, turning once. Makes 16 skewers.
4. Serve skewers with dip.
