DOLE Pineapple Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup chopped DOLE® Banana plus additional slices for garnish (optional)
- 1 cup chopped DOLE® Strawberries plus additional slices for garnish (optional)
- ¾ cup chopped DOLE® Pineapple
- ½ cup DOLE® Baby Spinach
- ½ cup plain low fat Greek yogurt plus additional for garnish (optional)
- Toasted coconut flakes and/or pineapple flowers for garnish (optional)
Directions
1. Purée milk, banana, strawberries, pineapple, spinach and yogurt in a blender on high until smooth; pour into a serving bowl and garnish with coconut flakes, pineapple flowers, banana slices, strawberry slices and/or yogurt, if desired.
Tips & tricks
To make pineapple flowers, use a whole peeled pineapple (do not core), and cut it crosswise into very thin slices. Pat the slices dry and gently press the slices into standard muffin pan cups; bake at 300°F for 2 hours or until mostly dry
