Basil-Cashew Vegan Sundaes with Strawberry-Balsamic Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped fresh DOLE® Strawberries
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon agave syrup
- 2 cups dairy free vanilla cashew milk frozen dessert, softened
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil plus additional for garnish
- Crushed pistachios for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Heat strawberries, vinegar and syrup in a medium saucepot over medium heat 10 minutes or until strawberries are very soft and mixture thickens, stirring frequently. Makes about 1 cup.
- Stir frozen dessert and basil in a large bowl. Scoop frozen dessert mixture into 4 (12-ounce) sundae glasses and top with strawberry mixture; garnish with pistachios and basil, if desired.

Strawberry mixture can be served warm or cold; if preparing in advance, cool to room temperature, cover and refrigerate up to 3 days.
