Banana-Mocha Dole Whip with Cinnamon
Ingredients
- 4 large ripe DOLE® Bananas, peeled and quartered crosswise
- 3 pitted Medjool dates
- ½ cup cold brew concentrate
- ¼ cup refrigerated unsweetened oat milk
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon plus additional for garnish (optional)
- Dark chocolate squares for garnish (optional)
Directions
1. Line a rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. Place bananas on prepared pan; freeze 5 hours or up to overnight.
2. Purée dates, cold brew concentrate, milk, cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon and bananas in a blender on high until smooth, scraping down the sides of blender occasionally. Makes about 3 cups.
3. Divide banana mixture into 4 small bowls; garnish with dark chocolate squares and/or cinnamon, if desired.
Tips & tricks
Freeze banana mixture, uncovered, 1 hour and pipe into bowls using a piping bag fitted with a star tip for the classic DOLE® Whip look.
