How do you pick blueberries?
When choosing blueberries, select those that are completely blue with no tinge of red. Avoid those that appear soft or watery.
How do you prepare blueberries?
Blueberries are extremely versatile in the kitchen. Simply snack on them plain or add them to oatmeal, smoothies or salads. Blueberries can also be used in whole wheat muffins and breads or can be cooked to create a sauce or jam.
How do you store blueberries?
Keep fresh by storing in plastic container in refrigerated until ready to use. (Note: our vented containers are the best way to store berries as they allow just the right amount of airflow to not dehydrate and keep the berries undisturbed until use.) Remove any damaged or overly soft berries. It is best to wash berries just before use by rinsing gently under running water and either allow to air dry or use a paper towel to remove excess water.
