How do you pick ripe burros?

Burro Bananas, as is true with most bananas, are harvested green and allowed to ripen during and after shipping. When ripe, the skin will be yellow with some black spotting.


How do you store burros?

If bananas are not yet ripe, let them ripen naturally at room temperature until soft. The skin will be yellow with black spots and the flesh is creamy white, once ripe, At that point Burro Bananas may be refrigerated for a few days.
