Colombia

Colombia is the fourth largest country in South America. The terrain ranges from low-lying coastal regions to the Andean plateau at 18700 Feet or 5700m and tropical rainforest. Bananas are grown between the mountains and the sea. Locals do not eat much our cavendish bananas, they prefer plantains as a side dish, or Manzanos.

Located in the northern part of the country in the Caribbean region, over half of it’s area is flat with the remaining areas being mountainous including the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range
