Agriculture on the coast mostly consists of banana plantations and shrimp farms. Bananas also grow in the highland mixed with other crops like cacao or citrus.Climate
The climate in El Oro is warm and humid. It is cooler in the highlands than on the coast, which make it the perfect place to grown bananas organically.
