Dole organic bananas have the same high quality as any other Dole fruit. The bananas are carefully harvested, washed and cut. After being separated from the stem, bananas must stay a little while in a water tank so that the latex it contains flows out.

After washing the bananas in water, an organic post-harvest treatment is applied to the banana crowns and a protective film is applied so they do not rot during transport to your supermarket.
