This easy Caesar draws some inspiration from another classic salad, the Niçoise. Start with our DOLE® Light Caesar Salad Kit and add a can of tuna, some chopped tomato, onions, briny capers, hard-boiled egg wedges and some chopped fresh dill. If you really want to take the French theme a bit further, you can also add some tender-crisp steamed green beans. For the ultimate Mediterranean experience use a really good canned tuna packed in olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. DOLE® Light Caesar Salad Kit
  • 1 can (5 oz.) tuna, well drained and flaked
  • 2 Roma tomatoes coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced DOLE® Onion
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, cut into quarters

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in salad kit except Caesar Dressing in large bowl.
  2. Add tuna, tomatoes, onion, capers and dill. Toss with dressing. Top with hard-boiled egg.
