The Caesar is a noble salad, but that shouldn’t stop you from turning it into a meal that’s fit for a king. In this case, that would be King Kamehameha the Great, who established the Kingdom of Hawaii early in the nineteenth century. For this Polynesian transformation, we start with our DOLE® Caesar Salad and add healthy canned salmon, chopped fresh pineapple and a handful of toasted, chopped walnuts—a whole lot easier than conquering a chain of Pacific islands. Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. DOLE® Caesar Salad Kit
  • 1 can (5 oz.) salmon, drained and flaked
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped fresh DOLE Tropical Gold® Pineapple
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in salad kit except Caesar Dressing in large bowl.
  2. Stir in salmon, pineapple and walnuts.
  3. Toss with dressing.
