Create a Pineapple Fruit Basket – with an Adult’s help!

• Set pineapple on its side.
• Cut a very thin horizontal slice from the bottom of the pineapple, the side resting on the table, so that the pineapple is steady and will not roll.
• Cut a thick horizontal slice – about a fifth of the pineapple - from the now top of the pineapple, the side furthest from the table. Make sure to AVOID cutting into the crown.
• Scoop out most of the flesh of the pineapple, being careful not to cut all the way through, to create a bowl shape.
• Fill your bowl with berries, melons, grapes, and pineapple chunks for a colorful edible centerpiece.
• Cover garden chairs with a swatch of brightly colored fabric over the seat and back. Tie a large bow across the back with a length of tulle.
