Classic Banana Bread A bread that is wonderful for breakfast or snacking.
2 cups all-purpose flour,
1 teaspoon baking powder,
1/2 teaspoon baking soda,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon,
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened,
3/4 cup packed brown sugar,
3 DOLE® Banana(s), pureed,
1/4 cup sour cream,
1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
1 cup chopped almonds,
Step 1: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in medium bowl; set aside.
Step 2: Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Beat in bananas, sour cream and vanilla until blended. Add in flour mixture; beat until just blended. Stir in nuts.
Step 3: Pour into 9 x 5-inch baking pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 4: Bake at 350°F., 55 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
