Preheat broiler. Line 15x10-inch jellyroll pan with foil.
1 tablespoon plus 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil, divided1-1/4 teaspoons finely minced garlic, divided1/4 plus 1/8 teaspoon grated fresh ginger, dividedDash ground red pepper
Stir together 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 teaspoon garlic, 1/4 teaspoon ginger, and red pepper in shallow dish.
1 lb. DOLE Asparagus, trimmed
Toss asparagus in oil mixture to coat and arrange on jellyroll pan
2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce1 teaspoon sugar1-1/4 teaspoons finely minced garlic, divided1/4 plus 1/8 teaspoon grated fresh ginger, divided1 tablespoon plus 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil, divided
Mix together soy sauce, sugar, remaining 1/4 teaspoon garlic, and 1/8 teaspoon ginger in small bowl, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Stir in remaining 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil.
Broil the asparagus about 6 inches from the heat source for 8 minutes or until lightly browned and tender, turning once.
Place the asparagus on a serving platter.

Stir the sauce and drizzle over the asparagus. Sprinkle with sesame seed.
*Note: To toast the sesame seed, put them in a small skillet over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the seeds are light brown. Watch carefully: sesame seed can burn quickly. Immediately transfer the seeds to a small dish and cool.
