1 can (20 oz.) DOLE® Crushed Pineapple
1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/4 cup crystallized ginger, chopped
3 tbsp. almond flavored liqueur
  orange zest
1-1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
2/3 cup ground almonds, toasted
1/4 cup margarine, melted

Steps

STEP1
Ingredients

1 can (20 oz.) DOLE Crushed Pineapple

Direction

Drain 1/2 cup juice from pineapple. (Use juice as a beverage.)

STEP2
Ingredients

1 can DOLE Crushed Pineapple
1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
1/2 cup DOLE Slivered Almonds, toasted
1/4 cup crystallized ginger, chopped
3 tbsp. almond-flavored liqueur
1 tbsp. orange zest

Direction

Mix remaining undrained pineapple with ice cream, almonds, ginger, liqueur and 1 tablespoon orange zest. If too soft, freeze 1 hour.

STEP3
Ingredients

1-1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
2/3 cup ground DOLE Almonds, toasted
1/4 cup margarine, melted

Direction

Combine all crust ingredients. Press in 9-inch pie plate. Turn filling into crust. Freeze 6 hours or overnight. Let soften slightly before slicing.
