Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray a 13x9 inch baking pan with cooking spay.

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4  cup margarine, softened
1 cup slivered almonds

1/2 pkg. (8.oz) Dole Chopped Dates, use (4. oz)

Combine brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour and cinnamon in a small bowl.  Cut in 1/4 cup margarine until coarse.  Stir in almonds and half the package of chopped dates.

3/4 cup granulated sugar
