All American Berry Mousse A delicious, patriotic mousse for everyone to enjoy.
1 cup boiling water,
2 pkg. (4 serving size each) strawberry gelatin,
2 extra-ripe DOLE® Banana(s),
1 carton (6 oz.) strawberry yogurt,
4 cups frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed, divided,
1 cup DOLE Frozen Strawberry Slices,
1 cup DOLE Strawberries, sliced,
strawberry slices and blueberries, for garnish,
Step 1: Stir boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water and ice cubes to make 1 cup. Place in refrigerator 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Step 2: Puree bananas in blender (1 cup).
Step 3: Combine yogurt and pureed bananas in large bowl. Stir gelatin mixture into banana mixture. Fold 2 cups whipped topping into gelatin mixture with sliced strawberries.
Step 4: Spoon gelatin mixture into 2 qt. (11 x 7-inch) shallow baking dish. Refrigerate until firm.
Step 5: Spread remaining 2 cups whipped topping over filling. Arrange additional strawberry slices on whipped topping for flag stripes. Arrange blueberries on whipped topping for stars.
