Chicken Nuggets With Pineapple-Orange Dipping Sauce

  1. 1. Prepare dipping sauce: Pour undrained pineapple into the blender.
    2. Secure lid and process until it"s a thick puree.
    3. Pour pineapple into the saucepan and add cornstarch; blend. 4. Add pineapple-orange juice and barbecue sauce; blend.
    5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring until sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.
    6. Remove from heat and set aside.
    7. Prepare chicken nuggets: Preheat oven to 400°F.
    8. Whisk the egg and milk together in a small mixing bowl.
    9. Place cornflakes in a plastic bag.
    10. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then shake with cornflakes to coat.
    11. Put coated chicken on a baking sheet.
    12. Carefully place baking pan in oven and bake for 15 minutes. 13. Carefully remove the baking pan from the oven.
    14. Serve nuggets with warm pineapple-orange dipping sauce.
