What is a UPC?
UPC stands for "Universal Product Code." It is the bar code found on the package featuring several vertical lines with numbers underneath them. The grocery checkout scanner reads this information to determine the price, size, brand and product variety. UPCs are often used as "proofs of purchase" qualifiers for special offers and promotions.
How long does a product last and can I still use the product after the expiration date?
Each Dole product features a "best if used by" date which guarantees the best quality and flavor. We do not recommend using a product after the "best if used by" date.
What can I do if I am unable to find my favorite Dole product?
Every effort is made to provide as wide a selection of Dole products as possible in stores across the country. If you can't find what you are looking for, it is important to let your store manager know. Ask the manager to see if the product can be obtained from the store's warehouse. If it is not available, this is your opportunity to let the store know you would like to be able to purchase it from them. Although we would like to see all of our products carried by every store, regional preferences vary and, as a result, your favorite product may be available only in certain areas.
