The Perfect Picnic

The lights flash overhead, children run around giggling with sparklers streaming bright imprints in the darkness, a blanket has been spread out under you, and the old picnic basket has been dusted off once-again for another 4th of July celebration.
It is a proud tradition to gather with friends and family to watch brilliant firework displays in the night sky. Just as tried and true as fireworks is the accompanying picnic, or barbecue to entertain the stomach as well as the eyes. No barbecued feast can be called complete without a juicy, delicious fruit serving to help liven the festivities!
DOLE® has proudly produced some of the most tart, tasty Raspberries in the world to perfectly enhance the traditional picnic basket, or 4th of July barbeque gathering. So the next time the summer months roll in, and the picnic basket comes out, keep in mind as you’re looking up to the sky, when you have DOLE® fresh Raspberries, fireworks aren’t the only bursting reds you’ll be enjoying in July!
